Insurance: £180
Full Service: £40
New Accelerator and clutch cables: £20
New front disk pads: £20
Labour: £35

Exhibit C: The MOT

Cost: £10
Pass? NO!
Fail? NO!

Not so bad you would think? You would be wrong, because its pending, meaning I can't drive it legally, because it's currently "not road worthy" until i get the MOT certificate.
Reason it isn't road worthy: it's "too noisy" The exhaust is a bit loud, so he wants me to replace all the fibre in the muffler... which is a bit too much after a grand total of £305 already spent on the bloody thing this month. Also, ive found a crack between the exhaust and the muffler which i have to get sorted at a welders tomorrow, more expense... am I happy about this, no, do I have money for beer this month, not likely, as its 2 weeks and 3 days till payday, and I'm already near skint!
